sure, what do you want to know? I have been running lights for 7 years and I'm currently in school for Lighting Design. It's just a fun way to be creative with lights and colors and be a part of the concert! I love it!!

don't think you have to be a multinstrumentalist, you should have good ears and a good feeling for the music, passion and for sure some knowledge 'bout the technical stuff.

Thanks for the request. I've worked my ass off to get where I am and I've still got a long way to go to get exactly where I want to be. Just keep plodding ahead and you'll get there eventually. :)

oh it must be some hundred years ago.... can't remember exactly.
I've been in music since I entered this world, learned flutes, piano, classical guit, then played guit and suddenly had to play the bass tracks on a LP. to that time I attended the school of audio engineering. then I got interested in these mental ways, learned a lot and can share if someone wants. as my brothers have been playing icehockey and were hurt sometimes and for sure I wanted to help them I started to learn the physical part. was asked to join different teams and I did. I just love all I do.

typically the band pays the backline techs unless it's a bigger tour where they hire out a company...but typically it's the band that pays the crew ultimately it's the band/management that pays the crew anyways, even if they're getting their chec...
